It’s perfectly okay to want to add external amps. Just make sure the amps are real powerful amps.
Yes, that's what he wants ... for less than $200.

A four channel amp because

I don't like having little boxes floating around, I have enough already.
Uhmmm ... I want one of those too. Like who doesn't?

For the life of me I don't understand why the Fosi rec isn't the answer here. It's $109 for the good one!

One of my damn speaker cables cost more than that. :D
"The speaker cables don't come with the speakers?" ~ My niece

I found some killer deal for used gear for her should she be interested in setting up a HT. That's what she said when I mentioned that she would need to buy various wires and cables. I was like, just forget I mentioned anything and enjoy the TV speakers. And she did.

If anything I've come around to their way of thinking. The audio coming out of my iPhone is a lot more engaging than I had previously given it credit for. Anywho, I'm done derailing this thread.

Cheap stuffs usually come with all kinds of free cables. That Fosi amp probably comes with speaker cables and RCA cables. :D

Funny that you bring up that point because this little WiiM Amp that I'm so taken with as of late came with everything BUT the speaker cables. HDMI, fiber optic, RCA ... and Craig threw in a fancy power cord. We're calling it cheap due to its msrp of $299 but my infatuation is based on form factor and 4 Ohm power output.

So $299 is cheap enough to get you that suite of wires. It's kind of cool that in the world of 2 and 3 thousand dollar rec'rs you can still get a little rig up and running for short money.

You obviously got ripped off. Call him back immediately to demand your cheap speaker wires. :D

Usually the rich gets more and the poor gets less; but it’s just the opposite in the audio world. :D

My $28K worth of Bryston amps didn’t come with shite. :D
