Seriously, I have no life.
Naaah, it's just not for me. I'm not a guy who'd buy a TT like in your picture, but I also draw a line in the other direction. Blue tac will not come close to my KEF's or any of the equipment for that matter.
But it doesn't leave a residue....

Anyway, back to the spikes in the role of decoupling, when I think about it, if a small contact surface is suppose to cancel the transfer of vibrations, then this device wouldn't work:

Right? The surface of the small ball tip is just a single dot, so it shouldn't transfer anything.
