I gotta ask, what's with all the trolls all of the sudden? Anyone else notice things getting a little strange around here since these new people starting posting a lot? I'm sit back and read kind of guy and try not to cause trouble, but these guys, wow.

I know I've been posting a lot, but I have at least met another forum member in person. I had fun trolling as a kid so it's only fair they do. It's better that than vandalizing the neighbors yard.

It's the modern way of hanging outside of a business in the parking lot upsetting the older customers. Like what we did 20 years ago before chat rooms. Now we can say "Damn Kids!" just like was told to us so long ago... Long ago... In a land far, far away... When dinosaurs roamed the earth...

I guess it's easier now that it's the internet and there is no threat of getting punched in the head like the old days.

I have noticed this too, people just arguing with no ground to stand on, making no sense, and not taking advice given, long rants about technology they don't know the first thing about..

I give advice about the equipment I have heard and or own, I don't know a lot about the technical measurement side of it so I look and listen when it comes to that stuff, but when you have people that do know arguing with people that think they do, it just leads to 60 page topics with no point that will never end...

I think it's the anonymity factor. It's easy to be a di, um, jerk/troll, when no one knows who you are. Kind of like having a false sense of bravado after a few shots of tequila.
Look at any local media website. People say anything no matter how vile because they can do it anonymously. There's no accountability. It got so bad with my local paper that now you can only post if have a FB account.

ImcLoud, the Tekton thread that you are reffering to is gonna be the only thread that is going to have measurements of Tekton Enzo's, Tekton Lore-S, and the Tekton 12' sub that hits 18hz.
Me and rocky got the enzo's, I got the 12' tekton sub, and my friend got the Lore-S, rocky got the measurements of his enzos in the works, and once I get my enzo's and my friend gets his lore-s in, we are gonna pick up the measurement gear and post up the measurements with help from fuzz..

I think it is getting somewhere. This forum is going to be the only place that is going to have measurements of the Lore-S, enzo, and the new Tekton 12' sub.

Geez, I hope I didn't join the forums at the absolute worst time. I'm a budding Audio Enthusiast, but I've always loved TVs and technology.

I haven't trolled or seen trolling, but I did recent join. It would be a shame If I were to be put in the box with those other trolls just because I'm new. Anyways I hope to separate myself from the troll herd at least.

There is no such thing as getting into audio at a bad time. Trolls come and go. It's easy enough to figure out who is good for what around here and it's easy enough to figure out who is a troll. If your interest is in audio, this is the time and this is the place.
