And if I found any life forms living amongst the printed circuit boards I would nurture and care for them, giving them names and beds to sleep in. Under no circumstances would I brutally drown them like a detainee at Guantanamo.
Come on guys, Alex has free beer for everyone

Having a living nightmare these days with birch-pollen, I'm quite allergic and now these last three days it's spreading like h#¤#
Of course this is also the best, warmest, most sunny days we had here this far this year, and I have to spend my time inside down "in a cave" where it's safe from this....
When I'm too exposed it's like knives in my eyes, even though I do take all precautions... allergy pills, allergy eyedrops, flushing eyes with saltwater drops, flushing hair, changing clothes 5 times a day
Don't suggest cortisone-shot, coz I'm not gonna take that sh##

It's only a matter of 10 to 14 days and it's gonna be over..... puuuuh

From henceforth I shall be writing a-mp and r-eview.
Or just use your own links - those will override the auto linker. All hail Alex. While his links are more, ummm, "colorful," I just use "nolink" on the A-word. I'll let them link to the R-word.

Had my third softball game of the year tonight. As someone who played some AA ball going up I'm a fairly good beer league softball player :p haven't played in a couple years though. Figured out the problem with my stroke (go nuts) and I was pretty stoked. 4 doubles for a skinny guy who will never hit you a home run ain't half bad :p

^^Belongs in the car porn thread. I personally think it is a little weird even for them. Flashy for sure.

My WTF for today is (older but, funny):

Played my first soccer game in over a year tonight. I received confirmation that I'm fat, out of shape, and completely outclassed by everyone else on my team. Plus, I rolled both my ankles just for good measure, because they were never meant to carry a butt this fat. Still had a blast anyways :D (he says as he sits on the cough icing both ankles and dreading being on his feet all day tomorrow).

Yeah, after not playing for years, my company started an indoor team so we could play year round. The first game was brutal. The next day at work was far worse. It was like fight club all the players nodding at each other with their limps and pains with a little grin. After two or three seasons, we were back to back division champs :) We kept playing for about 4 years. Indoor is less about endurance and more about sprint speed because the field is so much smaller, but it is FAR more brutal if you take a tumble and is a lot harder on knees because it is artifical turf over concrete basically.

The outdoor fields in my town are so crappy, the grass is always too long and the fields are horribly crowned. The ball never rolls true, which is what I love about indoors. The only indoor place remotely near me is isn't even a soccer place and the only league they do is an over 30. That's one of the things I miss about college. We had 3 domes all within 20 minutes of the college so we played 5 nights a week during the winter and ever day once the weather got nice. Those were the days :)
