Just so much to say...

First, if "women" isn't a typo, then hats off, my man.

Second, most women don't consider bass traps, DIY power supplies, cables, and the like "nice household items."

Third, it's not your house - it's hers. Decorating is her domain. Just let her do it. The sooner you accept that, the fewer divorces you'll have.

Fourth, embrace this. Learn from it. Men have for time immemorial effed up the simplest of tasks so that they won't be asked to do them again.
