We at Salk Sound are looking forward to this event. We will have a number of speaker designs on display. While I can't list, for certain, all the models we will have on hand, we will be featuring our new SoundScape 8's.

Actually, I am very much looking forward to my first opportunity to hear Salks. I hope you send some of the AH reviewed ones for a listen.

Demo Room Updates

All;

I just wanted to give a break down of the Demo rooms at our GTG Event next month.

Demo Room #1: Emotiva
This is a large demo room located by the Dock adjacent to the Hotel Restaurant
Emotiva will be setting up a multi channel demo along with showcasing new products. Epson projector and Severtson screen for video.

Demo Room#2: Salk Sound
This is another large demo room (The Dali Room) located on the 2nd floor. Jim already commented on what he will be demoing. The focus is two-channel of course.

The rest of the demo rooms will be on the 4th floor where the Lunch Room resides as well.

Demo Room #3: Angel City Audio
I believe this will be another two-channel focused demo room but will wait on them to chime on this thread.

Demo Room #4: HSU Research
Bass bass bass. HSU will be showing off a host of subs and speakers. They will also be demoing a full two days, Fri Oct 26th and 27th. So early birds can get their bass fix.

Demo Room #5: EMP
EMP will be showing off a full 7.1 system and a satellite speaker system. They will also be pairing up with Epson and Severtson Screens. I expect them to use Yamaha electronics.

Any chance of getting OPPO to send one of their new players to try out in one of the rooms we'll have an Epson projector? If they send a BDP-105 we could try it out in some of the audio two channel rooms, like Salk Sound. I know they're a sponsor, but just trying to get the best.

Excellent and your post is a good reminder. I am sure many of the sponsors of our event will offer a heck of a deal on their demo gear so they don't have to ship it back. I know for sure EMP will be selling all of the stuff they have on demo so prepare to show up and walk away with a good deal on gear if you're looking for one.
