Naw man, the attic was crazy hot, I would guess around 160 or so. Carolyn was acting strange about the 2nd addition so I figured if I run the wire and get the hole cut out in the wall, it would be hard for her to say no.

I was ungodly hungover anyway and figured I couldn't feel any worse so I headed up into the attic. I worked quickly as I couldn't breath up there at all. Luckily I drilled the right header and got the drop in one shot on both sides of the room.

Worked out a deal with the vendor of the product early this morning.

Kind of, I don't really have a front corner so it will be as close as possible to opposite corners.

I don't understand why attics aren't better insulated. It seems like it would make operating your a/c much more efficient - working in a 80° environment instead of a 160° one. I was up in my attic last week trying to clear a clogged drain line (unsuccessfully, I might add), and was sweating my balls off after just a few minutes.

That wallplate is very well done btw, I can't recall if I said that the other day.
