I lived in something very similar to this in my formative years.

Hey! That's my baby, or at least, it will be. Not happy with how the finish is coming out yet. MDF edges just don't stain well.
A few more clearcoats over the weeknd and it may be ready for the last 7 or 8 coats of paint.

Tried that twice. Tried mixing yellow glue with water. I've been through 15 sanding belts, 9 round sanding pads, 32 ounces of glue, 8 ounces of wood filler, a quart of clearcoat and 2 quarts of stain.

I think once you get the paint on it, those seams won't be noticeable anymore. What kind of paint?
