Yes it does. A dozen pair of 6-6, 12-12 and 20-21s? I never knew that MLS was involved with Epiphany, although I do seem to recall him talking about his own personal pair.

And I never knew about MLS and SVS. If there is a lull, perhaps you could elaborate while we wait to see how things turn out for Sean tomorrow.
Not to forget that there was a picture posted in the past in the VMPS section at Audio Circle of their rosewood subwoofer - and, you could see Rickets in the background. Mark took credit that "his" company in China manufactured for other companies. I wonder who VMPS has moved onto - or, if they're using the same supplier?

At the bottom of this, SVS says,

Monday, 17 January, 2005: Christmas is over; time for some real treats.

Well, it seems like Christmas was only yesterday, but we're already refining our lineup described in December. Product is the watchword for 2005. First out of the box (so to speak) is the re-introduction of the PB12-Ultra/2 in fine woods. After an exhaustive effort to replace our local cabinet shop (who opted out of the business of high end finishes but still does extensive CNC work for us on other products) we've selected Mark Schifter's Sound Art China (SAC) to supply us with this flagship enclosure (as an empty shell shipped to our Ohio factory). In fact we've specifically designed this new unit to accept either the famed Ultra or the stunningly good Plus woofer. So folks that want Champagne on a beer budget will soon be able to get our top grade cabinets with the price conscious Plus line of SVS Powered Boxes. Later this week we'll start taking orders for the PB12-Ultra/2 in Rosewood, Maple, Walnut, Cherry and even piano gloss black. That's the new PB12-Ultra/2 in Maple pictured above. These are actual wood veneers, and not stains laid over maple as we used in the past. Anyone familiar with Mark Shifter's work for various OEMs, including his own Rocket and Onix lines knows just how stunning these cabinets will be.
And so forth. There's a couple of stories behind dumping AV451 but I don't know if they're true.

What Cheney doesn't say is when they stopped buying cabinets and whether the cabinets were bought through AV451 or the Graham Company. That would be interesting to find out. And really, with all the furniture manufacturers out there, how difficult would it be to source a supply?

I did not realize that. That's a shame. He was one of the good guys and had excellent offerings.
As an industry insider and alleged employee working for a well known company, I'd have thought you'd have been aware of such things :(

I got that email, too. What left me scratching my head (aside from the irony of them sending me a "thank you" email in the first place) was the note that I could get $100 off one MFW15 or $50 off a pair of them.

They have until early May to deliver the goods. We'll be back in front of the judge at that time to confirm if they did so.

More info after that happens...
So that sounds positive. Good luck on that.

I hope they have plenty of B stock. Can't get enough of that for sure.

I see that they're now supposedly all made in the US. So, as we all bid adieu to the Uniaudio operation, let us remember these words by the Humbly Bumbly man and how much he cared for the passion and pride that was Colombia.

Santi

You are THE BEST BROTHER in the world... Breaking in my speakers for me...

I love this man....

Hugs...
We love you Santi...

Everyone here is praying too... we have nothing but good thoughts in our hearts and minds - and better days are ahead for sure...

HUGS...

Your other brother...
I was going to call you this morning and share the PRIDE I take in YOU and this team after listening to YOUR Moho LS-6's yesterday... OUTSTANDING... Santi - outstanding...

I love you Mi Hermano... I really love you Brother... I wish for great days for you and me - standing together with the business we have built in our belief in each other and what we are doing...

Miss you so much - wish you could be here to enjoy this with me... You deserve SO MUCH...

Hugs...

your chubby gringo brother... marcos...
Little did his brother in Colombia know of his relationship with sisters. Ahhhhh...the good old days. I am sure his brother in Colombia would not think of filing a lawsuit to recover what he's lost. I'm sure he's watched the Godfather and knows the importance of, "But don't ever take sides with anyone against the Family again. Ever."

Their attitude is sickening to me. When I finally got them to erase my account I tried to sign in to verify I was gone and the note they left on my reason for banishment is "I wonder why?". I just can't believe they would have the stones to be so smug like I am the one in the wrong here. Instead of just leaving it alone they had to take another shot. These guys have accepted zero responsibilty and just act like everybody else is in the wrong.

I wonder why ... what a bunch of arrogant a-holes.

Good luck getting the goods Sean.

Ahhh, so no money then. Just the goods. The judge I hope understood that the goods meant the right finish, A-stock, and all the parts. Am I correct in assuming that means ALL the speakers are to be delivered or did you accept any substitutions. Maybe one of them sexy Voltas!

Sean, was he wearing one of his infamous, expensive watches?

Another company that sourced cabinets from Schifty was ACI for their Sapphile XL speaker.
http://www.audioc.com/speakers1/sapphirexl/sapphirexl.htm

I don't know if they still do or not. In fact, way back, ACI also sold AV123's first generation ELT speaker.
Interesting. I wonder if they sourced cabinets for the Emerald XL from there as well?

I have to say I doubt it...although I'm only speculating, given the high quality of the cabinets. They are very well built, and heavy for such a small speaker.

I noticed that, too. No word on where that leaves Uniaudio, of course. The "new rail system" - external angle members at the corners of the LS cabinets, which I think look rather crude compared to the original - appears to be coming from a new shop, which suggests that all LS cabinet construction (however much that might actually be) has been consolidated into an unnamed new venue. That means no more Uniaudio-build LS cabinets. If the MFW-15 cabinets are coming from somewhere new, as well, that leaves exactly two products that might be manufactured at Uniaudio: X-Static and X-Voce. Makes me wonder when the last shipment of those made the trip north, since it seems possible (even probable?) that there will be no more X-Static or X-Voce speakers built.

...the note they left on my reason for banishment is "I wonder why?".
If they have to ask, they have even bigger issues than their precarious financial status, management shortcomings, dwindling product lines, indicted CEO, and forum that they've moderated into oblivion. If they have to ask, they don't even realize how completely they've screwed up.

Of course, I doubt they do really have to ask. As you said, arrogance is the more likely explanation.
