Whatta' great day!!

I played golf early before "The Game" and played great.... I watched TTUN go down in flames again.....

....and game day food could not have been better!!

Big/thick/juicy steaks that melt in your mouth GOOD!!

A tri-fecta of immense proportions!!

O-H!!!!!

Those steaks look very pale in color, more like a pork chop. Where did you buy that meat? They would taste really bland as well because I don't see any seasoning on them - not even salt and pepper. :p

IMO...they sell some pretty respectable cuts, but I'm no expert. All I can say is that I did a fine job producing tender, juicy results:p

You already posted these pics some time last year or so...? I love my rib eyes but your Bucks still suck as does the entire Big ten.

Those NY strips seem pale in color, like the meat was not aged long enough. I have never tried pre-cut steaks from costco but have had the whole tenderloin which you cut yourself and they are quite good.

LOL....yea, my sucky-Buckeyes are going to the Rose Bowl baby!! It's our first trip to the ROSE since an underdog Buckeye squad beat an undefeated ASU team to spoil their natty title chances after the '96 season. Jake the Snake was sure a pesky QB to defend for sure!! I remember that game very well!!!!

Hmmm...who will the Bucks play in the "ROSE"???

The Ducks? Arizona? Stanford? I prefer a USC rematch, but being realistic after SC ruined their season...I'm pulling for the Ducks. I think they're the best team in the PAC10 at this point.

Go BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it certainly won't be USC... thank God, I hate them too! I watched parts of todays game and IMo there is nothing impressive about the Bucks. Michigan had 5 TO's and lost 21-10 and last week they were life and death to beat the Hawkeyes at home and Iowa started a freshman QB. I wonder what the result would've been if Stanzi played;). The Rose Bowl will be hosting the only game that matters(BCS TITTLE GAME) and the Big is not invited....;)

Btw what kind of BBQ is that? Those Steaks IMO were designed for cast iron grilling racks which really sear in all the jucies.

It's a Weber....I think the racks are ceramic coated, but I'm not sure...because I have yet to read the owners manual.....LOL

Today was "First FIRE" actually....I just bought it. IMO...Considering I didn't ruin the steak on first 'first grilling'...it's an amazing thing. LOL:D

Usually there's a learning curve associated with buying a new grill...but today turned out pretty darned good.

P.S.....
Did I mention I grill.........."INDOORS"? LOL...yes, it's true. I grill indoors...12 months out of the year.

Weber grills are very nice Buckeye. They are not cheap but well worth the price. Nice buy! In my experience with Weber grills they allow for very consistent heat. No hot spots like you get with a lot of other grills.

We should both make it down to socialist France and really get used to some good eats. ;)

I'm pretty sure the Rose Bowl is supposed to take the non-bcs school this year. TCU is better than the entire Pac 10 and Big 10 IMO. Problem is that it's a small school in Texas so they can't make enough money to get in the big one. Now the schools are scared to play them so they like Boise get crappy schedules. Yet another argument for a playoff. Of course the NCAA tourney is getting worse every year too. Last year they had like zero non bcs at large bids which is garbage. Anyone watching Basketball knows the BCS was based on football. I think some anti-trust prosecution is warranted against the BCS.

I hate Ohio State, but I predict Michigan will beat OSU next year, Rich Rodriguez just needs to get some players in there that work well with his system.

I predict Michigan will get worse. I think forcing Carr out was a huge mistake and I hope they suffer for it. Both programs are shadows of their former selves atm. Of course for Ohio State they still won the conference, but only because of an injury.

Pundits are saying if Nebraska pulls off an upset or Texas only eeks out a win, TCU could be in line? Bo Pelini defenses usally do well versus the spread which Texas runs let's go Huskers...I would love to see TCU agaist Ohio(can't stand the Big 10). Another game I'll be watching intently is the not so civil war gooo Beavers..:D
BTW....GO bama....but Florida in all likelihood will win....:(.

PS: Mike Riley...another coach with CFL roots....;):).
