1 trillion seconds is 32,000 years.
Maybe the government should get spending under control, whichever party is doing the spending.
Since the government has no money but that which it takes (taxes) from it's citizens, anytime you read or hear about a government program or government spending, replace the word government with you or I or me or mine.
Still think it's a good idea?

My opinion on this is that the government should stick to it's one and only moral purpose:

To protect individual rights.​

That would cut 98.4% of the cost of government and, had it followed that mandate 100 years ago, we would not be the target of foreign enemies who hate us for our meddling other nations' affairs.

You forgot about the money they print. I'd like to see a list of people in our government who bought a lot of gold last year. It just passed $1000/oz.

When they print money it drives inflation, which in turn reduces the relative value of our cash assets. So from a certain perspective, even when they print the money themselves, they are taking it from us by reducing the purchasing power of our cash reserves.

I agree with you. Everyone always seems to be messing with their neighbors. Not to hijack my own thread but how do you like your Dayton sub? My room is 15x20, do you think I would need 2? I guess my real question is will 1 do?
Would you say it's good for music and movies?

That means in 7 years every man, woman and child could have an SVS if we bought 1 each for them.

Now if we went with the Dayton 12" Most folks could get 2 of them for 1 Trillion dollars.

Fill the world with subs. That's my stimulus package. 1 Billion subs are enough to please even Basspig.
