:D I bought a gramma since I live in an aparment (don't want neighbors' heads to explode), but my current sub is junk so I haven't really used it. So I couldn't say "must have"... yet.

I have an Ultra, but do not own this movie. I've heard things about that scene ever since the movie was released. Maybe I should pick it up, if for nothing else, good demo material? :)

Watched WOTW last night up to the where the Pod blows up the bridge. Sounds super with the new XPA-5 in the mix. It handles the peaks much better than the 1015 alone did. The bass was phenominal with the duals.

I used to get some center channel distortion during the pod horn scene with the 1015 and CSi 30. Didn't hear it at all with the XPA-5 ERM-6.2.

I think I told you this before but your set-up is tops all the way around, your twins(subs Alex ) are so handsome.:)

It helps clean up the bass of any sub and prepares you for the future:D

I must suggest Black Hawk Down as next on your list. The Irene scene is f***ing insane and that's coming from a preacher boy.

It's required you view that scene.

I've got Black Hawk Down in Blu-ray but dont think i've watched it with my Ultra yet , but I will :D

I see what you are meaning now. Air that gets pushed away from the subwoofer's ports isn't normal, because the conterforce the woofer exerts should draw the air it moved back into the port instead of allowing it to escape.
Maybe she was just catching her breath and it was a sigh :D What ever my PB13 was DOING IT SOUNDED WICKEDLY GOOD !!!

It does work that way, but if the air comes out too fast you can get chuffing and other issues. Still it's a unlikely to happen in non-heavy LFE movies.

I'm surprised you could feel anything coming out of the Ultra. He's sitting in front of the port though so that probably explains it.
Yes I was directly in front of it on the floor around 4 or 5 feet away but only noticed it once. it actualy felt pretty good : ) I thought WOTW was a heavy LFE movie :eek:

Yes im running the 15 HZ tune also and liked it so much I havent gone back or tryed anything else .

5) Iron Giant - Whenever the Giant stomps (tie/tape everything down)

I watched it early last night. I was afraid my subs would break and my neighbors were probably praying that they would break. Eff them. :eek: :D

J/K. Like I said, I got it watched early enough. ;) I can't imagine what it must sound like on those $1,000+ subs but I'm sure that it's a rare treat. You probably bother your neighbors even though you live in houses. Congrats. :)
