I think Bale is a great choice here.

The future war was always the most intruiging to me. What I don't get is how the humans survive with the thermal imaging capabilities from the machines, lasers not withstanding.

me too. i was actually disappointed with T3 having barely a few scenes of machines actually rising.

i wanted to see the future battles too

Terminator: Salvation!!!!!!

Folks, just seen a trailer for the new Terminator movie while watching the UCONN vs. M. State game. Release date is set for May 21st, 2009!!!!!! This is one of those movies I will have to go see asap. Heck, I may even pay regular price as opposed to just going to the early Sunday showing. That is saying a lot as I hardly ever do that. Anyone else here looking forward to seeing this one as well? I am very excited myself!!!!!!

LOL.........no it is the machines. I only got a glimpse of it during the game. But, enough that was my initial reaction. There is also a new Transformers due out this Summer. Thus, that will be another one I will have to go and see.

Thanks Mike. Guess, there really is nothing to add other than being a fan. I am just looking forward to seeing it. Perhaps, this Summer will contain lots of great films with lots of f/x. Of course, we also need great sound tracks too. Hope all is well my friend.

I hope they can tie in the Sarah Conner Chronicle show to the movie and don't completely abandon that story line. Anyone see last weeks episode where Derek died? It was quite depressing.

Well theres plenty to say!!

First off imo, the terminator movies were just pretty decent action movies until the third one came out. It tied them all together so well and transformed them into an epic saga which I think has a story line of equal value to series such as starwars (well maybe not that high, but you get the point).

I didnt even know they were continuing these movies anymore, im excited to hear that they are!! Ill have to look into who wrote this one vs. the others... tho. Sometimes movies can be destroyed because of different writers and directors... (Indiana Jones, Resident Evil...)

Well yah I really loved the 3rd terminator so this is great news once again. Oh btw, I do not hope they tie in the tv series... Ive never seen it, but im really guessing its crap. Ive heard it was crappy, and it just sounds like a dumb idea anyways.
