Good stuff. The longer I poke around on this site, the more I'm tempted to go that route. Only problem is I'm completely incompetent with tools, so I would need a cabinet maker to do it for me. Can you suggest any good plans for me?something I could hand to a cabinet maker with absolutely no experience with audio equipment (ie all of them) could easily understand. I would like pb12-pb13 like performance. Hopefully in a smaller package.
The cat is out of the bag so to speak so I'll spill it. I had someone talk some sense into me and canceled my order for the Epik and now have two of the Simple Infinity Perfect builds on the way. Found a cabinet builder that will do both enclosures for $400 including a stained finish.
Actually my wife was the one even though she was all for getting the Epik, I started having doubts about getting it and she asked around and found the cabinet builder through a friend of hers so that sealed the deal. So now I'm looking at getting dual SVS Ultra-like performance for less than the price of a PB-12+.
...and now with the introduction of the new Behringer Amp, I'm ready to get this party started.
