Any Ideas for HT setup in new home?

Back wall has sliding glass doors to porch.
Right wall has window
Front has no wall as it extends to dining room
Left is solid until doorway to den?

Have a month until closing. Cable must be in right back corner. Second floor so running wires through attic is out.

Suggestions???

No, the Townhouse is perfect for my requirements in all other ways. This is Florida, very few basements. I could, perhaps run wires under the carpet. I;m thinking TV and entertainment center in front of window but I don't think I can fit surrounds along left wall. It may have to be on the wall behind the sofa (in picture).

Is the wall that is solid up to the den doorway a good place for the TV? Is that where the sofa is right now?

TV where the sofa in the picture is. Thats my vote. I was goning to suggest in the den...but you have your other equipment to put in there.

Suggestions???

Quick glance, and I want to say:

- get couch off the back wall. Muddy bass, usually where the worst peaks + nulls are, smearing of audio, etc. And your TV looks bigger too!

- heavy curtain to replace the blinds in top portion of pic. Research certain liners that will absorb better than others. Still won't be broadband, but if you ever wanted to have perhaps the best audio reproduction, you can temporarily hide treatments behind curtain during a movie. Your friends and family may or may not report you to the local psychiatric clinic, but that's just a risk you'll have to take.
