Fred, welcome to the forum, and great system! I bet that it brings you a lot of enjoyment.

Yup, I pretty much hate you, and I'm really jealous.

Thats one gourgeous set up and I bet it sounds better than it looks. You sir are lucky. What do you think about everything you have? Anything you would change or plan on adding?

Hello with you.

Firstly I thank you for the various compliments.

Then to answer Avarsefi here into two line my parcour audiophile. I am now 42 years old and I started to interest me in the high fidelity at the 16 years age. While commencant by a NAD 3120, a reader Denon DCD 1500 as well as enclosures B&W DM110. All that for saying that I have been faithful to the mark for my 16 years. This type of listening belongs to me maintaining. I thus passed by DM110, 220, 330, Matrix 3, matrix 803, 805, matrix 801, Nautilus 805, Nautilus 803 to finish with 802D, 800D and at the end of the course of the 801D. I surely acknowledge duty to forget some models but it is not too serious. The config that I currently really formed part of what I appreciate more in high fidelity. Respect of the stamps, speed of execution, speed, management of sound space. Really and this for me and compared to the price it is really excellent. The addition of a Richard Gray Power Compagny convinced me definitively. The Analysis cables have corresponded for more than 6 years so that I sought since step badly time. For this reason I bolt now to benefit as well as possible from my system for an end of time.

I was just about to ask you why you settled on the 801D and not on the 800D.

can you share with us your opinion on the differences between the 802D, 800D and 801D?

How much of a difference did those cables and feet make? Personally, all that isn't worth it if you don't upgrade the power cables too.

Fred,

Wow. Just...wow. For a while, I just looked at the picture that you posted on this site. The system is just gorgeous in that picture. I finally went to your website tonight. Exquisite. Not only is the system itself phenomenal, but the photography is top-notch. I really liked how you took the components all the way from being inside the original packaging to the final set-up. Very well done.

Now I look at my system and wonder how I go on living. :) Someday, perhaps, I will have a system like yours. Someday.

Adam

Hi Fred, I can only repeat what Adam said in the quote above.
Very nice system, and web site!
Adam, thanks for saving me all that typing.
Rick:)

Fred,

Amazing. Beautiful setup and photo's. Classe makes very stylish gear. Wow.

Hey cool, there are few in these parts that understand how much good equipment matters! As a Audiophile I am goning to soon post pics of my new mancave with a wink at HT, you have some great gear!
My father runs Classe Mono Blocks with his Vandersteen Wood Quato speakers, he has the 5A on order....Classe makes great gear!

Fred,

That is a very nice system that you have. It does not cause me the same existential angst that Adam is experiencing, but based on my experience with B&W, I'm going to guess that it sounds as good or better than it looks.

I have to ask... Are you fredfish of the Fred Fish shareware scene from from the mid 80's through the early 90's? Just in case you are...

Hi Fred & welcome, you've got a killer lookin rig,i love the new styling of the classe gear.

A friendly little tip, you'll do well to not get sucked into the age old debate about hi end power cords, speaker wire or interconnects, this is a good site with alot of great members & staff but you will be ambushed from all sides if you get sucked into commenting on it.

Wow those speakers should be in an art gallery or something.

Fred,

I'd like to compliment you on your wonderful collection of components. Very impressive!! Have you researched room acoustics and done anything for room treatment yet? With the components you have as a foundation, you should have no problem converting your listening room into pure audio nirvana.

Very nice!! Enjoy:)

I think the Fred Fish you're referring to passed away last April...

By the way, you're system is beautiful. I have not felt lust like this in many years. I'm thinking I may sell a kidney to purchase one similar. Excellent pics on the website too!
