An honest bird you are, Robbie! But while I agree that a big bird seems somewhat fitting, the 'buzzard' is not a bird of prey. Also, it's a social bird, hunting (if you can call it that) carrion while in small flocks. It's a scavenger, and in the U.S. the term refers to the pesky and .... uh .... not so handsome turkey vulture.
