who know of a dealer in the texas area, or a distributor. I am interested in the monitor series. the monitor 11's, and the center channel.

I put in zip code 78520 for Brownsville, Tx and it returned:

CUSTOM AUDIO VIDEO
5101 N. McCOLL
MCALLEN, TX
78504

Oh, it shows as 54 miles away from that zip code.

If you want one in Austin, you might try entering in a zip code for Austin

I would try the one in MCALLEN but if not there is a big dealer in Fort Worth.

Marvins Electronics ask for Scott and tell him Greg referred you.

MCALLEN is the one it returned when I put in a zip code too.

I've been to A&B in Austin and it was a decent shop.

I have called to the McAllen shop actually I went there (I live here), those guys have a weird way to work they have told me that they do sell paradigm but have to make an appointment in order for them to open the store for me as they supposedly are always busy doing installations , they said that they have studio 60's for auditioning but are always busy!

so I gave up since I just can't trust a store that doesn't open for business.

I can give you more info on them if you want to give them a try just send a PM

Must be a small, hi-end spot. I wouldnt do business with them if that is their attitude.

I've been there a couple of times. They have the entire studio line set up for audition as well as the monitor line. As far as the Sigs go they only have the S8 in the store. Also all the speakers are connected to either Pioneer Elite or Yamaha receivers. If you to check them out make sure you go to the room with the Yamaha receiver. The pioneer room does not do them justice.

Also I just saw that you were interested in the Monitor 11's and if I were you I would look into the Studio 40. Way better speaker with superb imaging and I am pretty sure the owner will sell them to you at the monitor price. I went on saturday and they sold a pair of the 40's to a guy for $1200.

$1200 is about right if you are only buying speakers. I paid ~1k for mine but I bought a lot of stuff at once.

so you guys would recommend the studio's over the monitor, I am aware the studio should be better speakers, but I just got a pair of old paradigm monitors, don't know the model, and i do enjoy them alot. I am wanting to replace my Acoustic research. and i think i want the cabinet front rather then really flat fronts. I guess my idea of getting the largest monitor, rather then the smallest studio.

Yes, I believe that a small studio series will out perform a big Monitor series. If you just want big, get a CV...LOL

The Studio 40's put out some impressive bass for their size. They sound great on Yammy gear.
