I purchased the VX-10 and had a couple of questions regarding set-up on my subwoofer.
1) I noticed this morning that the Green LED light was on ? even though my receiver was off
is there still a signal being sent, it wasnt doing this 2 days ago.
2) I set all my speakers to SMALL, so could there be a stronger signal going to the sub even if the reciver is off?
3) Last night I heard the sub make a rattling sound for a moment, like the cone was moving real quick ( it stopped on its own )
is that a normal occurence?
My last question is, should I keep my Sony Tower speakers set to SMALL or LARGE? They have a
Frequency Range 45Hz - 50kHz
The Manual states the following:
Auto turn on function
The subwoofer will turn itself on automatically when an audio signal is
present. If no signal is present for approximately 8 minutes, the unit will
switch to standby mode (Red LED). While in standby mode, your subwoofer
will draw very minimal power.
So my understanding is that GREEN means the unit is ON?
not OFF and the RED should be on when there is no Signal from the receiver?
Right...That's why when i saw the LED Green this morning I was wondering if I left the receiver on, but it wasnt
Thanks,
