Taco Bell: Dunno if it's a coincidence or what, but.

...for the first time since that e-coli thing came and went, I had three Taco Supremes, which I loved (note tense), Wednesday night. I woke up this morning with explosive diarrhea and I've been fellin' way funky all day.

Oh well, another place I'll never eat again.

I have to agree, Taco Hell can rip out your intestines.

Might want to stock up on the extra soft TP ;)

Pretty much most fast food... Used to eat TB a lot, but since getting sick there last year I've avoided it.

Did you guys know that the ground beef that Caca-Bell uses is one grade above the one labeled "unfit for human consumption" by the USDA? In other words, can you say Purina Dog Chow? Why do you think Montezuma's Revenge is always right around the corner after a masochistic visit to Caca-Bell?

They had a great documentary on this on 20/20, after that my wife swore off Caca-Bell.

Sometimes I NEED fast food. Now I'm pretty much down to..

BK for burgers or, if I'm in the mood, White Castles. I was raised on sliders and I've built up an immunity I guess.

I'll do Mickey D's for breakfast and that's about it. I've got no use for them afterthe breakfast menu comes down.

I'm really, really miffed about Tacky Smell, though. I used (note tense) to look forward to three taco supremes after a late night. I never had a problem with 'em befors but after what I went through today and what happened to them a few weeks ago, I'll survive without 'em.

BK = I'll pass. A lot of the time is is the specific location too. The Wendys around here is decent.

Combine that with the fact that fast food people don't get paid enough to give a rats a$$ about you or whether your food is clean/edible and you have a recipe for...well, you already know apparently.

I bet you did have a mild form of it as not all e-coli are killers.

Hey Mtry, What do you think? If a person drinks a couple of ounces of HP will that negate the effect of Caca-Bell's hellish menu? Or will the Montezuma effect override HP?;)

Forgive me, but what is HP? I think Hewlett-Packard anytime I see that acronym.

We used to call those little square burgers "belly bombs".

that's what I thought of too... but anyway, one of my friends works in the food industry, and any time we would go to toxic smell, he would gleefully tell me that it was the "lowest grade beef in the industry", then he would eat somewhere else.

Anybody familiar with Whataburger?

We've been spending a lot of time in Texas, and pretty soon wel'll be spending a a LOT more there.

Wassup with these guys?

So far they seem pretty good but, hey, what does a city boy know?

Whataburger is without a doubt the absolute best burger chain I have ever encountered. They make the burger to your specifications when you order it - not before. Burger King may advertise 'have it your way' but good luck actually getting it your way.

Whataburger also actually places the burger centered on the bun, something that McDonalds employees are incapable of doing. I also prefer their fires to anyone else. McDonalds used to have the best fries but that was a long time ago...

In the ear at that, LOL :D

No, if the acids in the stomach didn't get it, that HP is unlikely to do anything.

Here's the deal... save yourself some time and pain:

Next time you want to go to Taco Bell, just go to the toilet... take your money... and throw it in there. It's much easier and saves you lots of hassle.
