What model?
Well it is just a coffee cup

But the audition was with the Dynaudio Contour Legacy speaker .... I think it is insanely mindblowingly good
I love, love, love, love that speaker

It has the best tweeter Dynaudio can do, and the midwoofer from their top of the range models, WOW

I am scared of what happens with the USA now, how much harm one person can do :eek:o_O

And the fact that JD Vance can be honored coming back ....speaking ruzzias message and claiming there is no democracy in Europe ..... now Trump just echoing lavrov´s message to the world.

I think this could be even worse than what I expected o_O
My wife was raised in the Soviet Union, Trump has no idea of the mindset ruzzians are following here .....

Oh, I am aware. The ecostar 3 is amazing. I just could not do the heritage Bookshelf in comparison to my Ref 1 for similar cash. The confidence were a good but out of my price range.

Do you mean that you're going to fix the problem by purchasing a pair of Contour Legacy speakers, and saving the cost of drinking coffee? :p
I do have Sonus Faber Guarneri Evolution speakers, with 4 subwoofers .... with Trinnov Amethyst and a monster 800w poweramp .... so I am pretty happy now .... I think Contour Legacy speakers is a bit off now .... :D
Guess there is about $50.000 in electronics

I spent way more money on gear than people do buying a new Tesla, guess it´s time for a break :D
(every single product I get is hand-picked and only approved if it is great value and brings added musical experience IMHO, but some things are darn expensive)

I meant, I fix it by adding coffee to the cup :D

I'm putting my kitchen counter in. So a little formica work, bondo and cabinet building on the side ... but it beats having a sh!t counter with a bad install.

But anyway ...

Boring edit: I might nap ...

2025 starting off pretty hairy. The wife had just left for work and was sitting at a red light. Nobody can really tell us what was going on with the guy who caused it. He was either trying to run the light or made some sort of mistake, but he was at a high rate of speed, hit the car next to her and pushed it into her car, then flipped and rolled a few times into a chain link fence at a construction site. The two occupants were extracted and sent to the hospital. This is a very busy intersection where you enter the freeway and people frequently run that red for some crazy reason, but whatever the reason, it is going to be a pretty costly error for this guy.

The first car he hit was clearly totaled, bumper off, right suspension completely snapped. Our car just had the bumper split in half, but that was amazingly the only damage. It was a hard enough hit that it moved her car sideways though, so she and the other driver both have whiplash. Her X-ray is clean, so it is just soreness.

my mother had and accident this week too. Thankfully clean x-ray. She was literally going to a doctor appointment too! I think it’s cell phone use most likely.

OMG that’s so scary. Glad to hear she’s okay. Some Drivers are so bad now it’s all about defensive driving on the road.

Yeah, I told her to be defensive, but she was stopped at a light. Not many options there, she didn't even see him coming because he was on the other side of the other car.

I hear you. That’s one of the scariest things. Waiting and having no control. I Took several defensive driving courses and they talked about safety at stops and giving yourself an out if you see something happening but it’s easier said than done. The highway off-ramp in our town has drivers that are running the lights. I have to wait and make sure everyone is stopping before moving at a stop. Crazy.

A few years ago, I was stopped at an intersection on red light. I happened to glance in my rear-view mirror and saw a car approaching from behind, that didn't appear to be slowing down. When it looked like he wasn't going to stop, I looked left quickly* and gunned it into the intersection. Simultaneously, I heard screeching tires as the driver finally clued in and slammed on the brakes. His car came to stop precisely where my car had been sitting a couple of seconds prior.

It was a "T"-intersection, so I only needed to look one way.

I have been hit that way before. I looked and saw him coming, I had a car on the right and concrete divider on the left and he just plowed into me, lifting my car onto his hood and smashing me into the car in front of me. No injuries though. It happens, inattentive and aggressive drivers.

Another time, I was at the light late at night and all of a sudden I hear the screech and a car in the adjacent street came shooting into the intersection just as my light turned green. It wasn't his fault though, he had been hit from behind by a drunk driver. Both the drunk and the guy who got hit had no idea what had happened, so I stuck around and told the police what happened. Super unlucky for that guy, he was the only car at that light in 4 lanes and the drunk guy hit him. Nobody seriously injured again, thankfully.
