Is the Denon android app worthwhile?
Teetertotter? Senior Audioholic May 30, 2023 #2 Give it a try and see if it is good for you or not. See if it has all the controls you require. I have the Roku TV remote, DTV remote, and the Denon AVR remote. I don't need any more for my applications. The DTV remote turns every thing off/on, changes channels, and controls volume. If I need internet music via the Denon AVR, I use that remote. Perhaps others will chime in. denon app for android - Search (bing.com)

highfigh Seriously, I have no life. May 30, 2023 #5 Squishman said: I was thinking I'd use ethernet since the modem is right there one shelf down. If I did, would wifi find the amp? Click to expand... Your tablet should find the AVR as long as your WiFi isn't set up to block anything. It's just like any other device on the network, at that point. Open the app, search fro devices and connect. If it doesn't find the AVR automatically, you can enter the IP address (you would find this in the AVR's Network setup area). If it's close, I would hard wire it- read my tagline at the bottom of this post.
