I didn't watch it last night, but saw the video clip of him when he assaulted Chris Rock. On a side note, some of the women looked ridiculous in some of those dresses. One had this black, what ever, looked like one of those fluffy curtains she had wrapped around her.Young pop music artist Billie,something who can't sing a lick. Just not my kind of music. The watered down media is calling it a slap which is by Law, and this country is ruled by law. It's considered assault, which is a misdemeanor criminal offense. He really committed two criminal offenses. His assault on Chris Rock and use of loud lewd profanity in a public setting, which in some states is also a misdemeanor, criminal offense.

I believe she took home 1 Oscar. Not for wearing a shaggy curtain around herself though.

Haven't watched the Oscars in years. I used to watch them with my parents and then my wife, but eventually you see it for what it is. A bunch of entitled rich people giving themselves gold statues. I wouldn't have known about the slap without the local morning DJs joking about this morning on the radio.

I was pretty impressed that CODA won. It was a really good film. Haven't seen Drive My Car yet, but glad it got at least one not also. I saw most of the nominees this year, not all of them, many of them were good.

Obviously the disease Jada has is not something that should be joked about. Jada looked super pissed at the Gi Jane joke even though Will was laughing at first until he saw Jada’s reaction. That slap didn’t seem to phase Chris at all. Maybe a punch would have worked better.

While I TOTALLY understand why Will and Jada would be upset about it, it isn't something to joke about and is obviously a sensitive subject to them. I have a friend at work who has alopecia too, but she doesn't let it keep her from being who she is. It represents a much larger issue for a public figure though.

On the other side of that, if everyone went after every comedian who made a joke about them, because it is nothing more than that, we'd have a lot of dead comedians. It was the wrong way to handle it, especially in front of a full house and millions of viewers on TV.

I'm not sure he was laughing at the joke per say. Just laughing to be polite but when you look at the video you can see it really got to her. Not in just I'm pissed off but more this kindoff hurt. When he looked over he saw his wife hurt emotionally like that he just went red and snapped. I'm sure any husband could empathize. That doesn't make what he did right tho, it's unfortunate I'm sure if he could turn back time Will would have taken it back. There's no coming back once you put your hands on someone tho. I just felt sad about the situation all around. Nobody wins when things escalate like that
