Wow, this is nice to see! Once upon a time I started with a Pro Cinema 80 system and over the last 6 years or so have climbed to the top of the Def Tech mountain. Great speakers, great community here, and great customer service when you need to talk to the factory. Winning combination. Khellandros, how about a link to some pics of your system in the Member's System Gallery?

I am gonna have some free time this week so i am gonna straighten out this room before i take pics. Ya know typical nerd with HTMags, S&V, CPU mag, PC World, Linux Journal etc everywhere...

Then I will take some pics of my HT upgraded yet again.

BTW AH.com kicks the $h!T out of 100% of the magazines out there, but since I can't take my PC and HDTV to the toilet ya know..

I have a full set of Def Techs. Will get pictures up later

BP 2002
CRL 2002
BPX

I love them. They have performed flawlessly in 4 HT setups over 10 years.

I also have a Deftech setup.

BP10's (mains)
CLR 3000 (Ctr)
BP2X's (surrounds)

They get the job done on the movies - which is all I use them for.

I just watched this movie on what I consider an excellent sound system and honestly I found this movie to be more comical than scary...

What was the subject again? Oh yeah, our KICK A$$ Def Tech systems. If only I could replace the tweets with a Heil AMT. My 23 year old ESSs are going with me to the grave, it's in the will!

I'm old-school, having bought my DefTechs back in 1996.

Fronts - BP10's
Center - ProCenter C1 (or was it just called a plain C1?)
Surrounds - BP1's

Still sound good to me, so I haven't felt motivated to upgrade, or change, for that matter.

MAX, I would LOVE to hear your impressions of the Trinity in this thread!!! What can that bad boy do? Would love to see some pix of it integrated into your system as well... (sorry to bug you but you're the only person I "know" who has one of those sumb1tches)

Well I can say that the Trinity is really a top of the line Sub, my calibrator measured it down to 16hz {this is what he told me, whatever thats worth} but the sheer power this thing puts out is amazing. You can feel it in your chest to say the least. Overall If I end up selling my system in the future the Trinity is staying. she is a keeper.

I will post picks soon, but I loaned my digital camera to friend who just had his first baby and I haven't gotten it back yet. As soon as I do I will post some for you.

Crossover frequency

Hey guys (and gals if appropriate) wondering how you have your def techs set up.

My BP2002's are running off a Denon 3805. I think I have the crossover set at 80hz.

They are bi-wired with the mid and low bridged for non digital signal. RCA into the LFE in, off a split signal from the Denon 3805 Sub pre-out.

What does everyone else have for crossover and wiring?

Go Def Tech!
