new setup for onkyo (rz800)with5.2.1klipsch speakers /subwoofer

I am new at this forum and hope someone can help me about speaker level calibration and crossover,

2 TOWER RP280 FA ATMOS KLIPSCH crossover 80
CENTER CHANNEL 450 C KLIPSCH crossover 80
2 SURROND RP240S KLIPSCH crossover 80
SUBWOOFER SW115 KLIPSCH crossover 120
AV RECEIVER ONKYO RZ 800

I think i have good speaker but i am not getting good or strong level sound, even my sub with top of the line klipsch, still not shaking the house.
For sure my setup is wrong but i don't know where,
Any idea?

Did you use the AccuEQ setup the avr provides? Your speakers are set to small? You only have a single crossover between speakers and sub, the sub doesn't have a separate crossover (it is probably the LPF of LFE you've got set at 120 which is fine).

Your crossover settings sound reasonable but you can always experiment a bit. Sub placement and room size have a lot to do with bass performance so you might want to elaborate on how you chose the sub position and what your room is like....

I am using this system for playing music when we have party.
Maybe funny : last week I didn't have 15' subwoofer klipsch and also level calibration/ crossover was default and I never did setup
But result for power speaker was very powerful with great bass on left and right RP280FA ATMOS KLIPSCH .
For this week I add 15' sub and setup crossover and level calibration but result :
Very weak power speaker without bass and subwoofer not shaking the house at all (highest power on klipsch )
In my onkyo rz 800 I can't find small/ large setup speaker
Any idea ?

If you set up a crossovers and levels I'm assuming you used the AccuEQ/Auto Speaker Setup program (but nice if you would confirm such) and have bass management on (i.e. your speakers set to small/use crossover, i.e. not full band) but some avrs may display a crossover suggested from the auto setup and still be set to large/full band. Look at page 39 of the manual.

It is hard to guess at what other settings/sound modes you may be using without details, too.

Yes, there is. Read the manual section I pointed out, it's in your crossover section as to full band/crossover....and I use the actual page numbers as printed on the manual itself, not the pdf's page count....

I didn't use level calibration/ crossover by microphone because I installed my AV receiver at closet 35ft far away the speakers (left right center) and mic is not reach that distance .then I just did manually

left/right 11.5ft
Center 11.5ft
Surround left/right 13ft
SUB 4.5 ft
Speaker level
ALL speaker and subwoofer put it +8db
And also because I didn't have SPL Meter , ( already order one but not receive yet) just did myself.
About subwoofer : my 15' subwoofer it's working but doesn't have strong bass ( Rey weak )
Behind sub : I put it all the way up to LFE
ON CHANGE FROM 0 to 180
Again I don't see on setup menu

FYI distance is an adjustment for delay; setting a subwoofer by physical distance alone is likely not ideal as you're not accounting for the inherent delay in the sub's amp. Sometimes you further adjust for phase at crossover.

Why did you set all levels to 8dB? You likely have a mismatch here as well (levels are based on both distance from the speaker as well as the speakers' sensitivity).

Refer to the manual's description of setup menu options on page 34. You cannot find the setup menu?

ps It may be worth the time to use the avr and microphone in the main room then put it away in the closet or wherever you have it.

Are you using the receiver faceplate alone? Or with a display for the gui using the remote? What is at each end of the adjustment of crossover? Does it go to full band after the lowest number or something?

There is no way I can setup AV receiver on main living room , because ALL speaker wire on inside closet even if I moved AV receiver ( which is really hard) still I can,t setup ALL speaker because my 2 rp240s placed on top of the kitchen cabinet .
And also I read on some forums and YouTube channels much much better You setup manually by SPL meter instead of auto microphone,
The distance: I just use tape measure FROM speaker to primary sit on ear level ,

I will receive my SPL METER on monday and will try to measurement manually without AV mic . Turn on receiver put it on speaker level calibration and set my SPL meter to 85hz and pink noise comes on front left ,and all speakers and then adjust the rest .

Please correct me if I am not doing right .
As I said this is my first experience and very happy gong nice people at this forum which help you .

like other Av receiver, onkyo Rz 800/900 using:
full band for large speakers
HZ for small speakers
onkyo support told me today over the phone,
i just received my SPL meter and tomorrow have plan for setup my onkyo and klipsch speakers
and i will update it here.

Great, you should be good to go now. Make sure you turn your crossover on the sub all the way up to insure it isn't being applied in conjunction with the Onkyo crossover. Also start with the subs volume at the 10 o'clock position.

full band for large speakers
HZ for small speakers
onkyo support told me today over the phone,

I just setup my new Av receiver sign klipsch speaker with SPL METER yesterday I put it on 75HZ
On meter face toward ceiling and change level DB by _+ on receiver remote control
Front left tower : -5.5db Full band
Center : +1.5db 100 HZ ( just boost some level to hear better detail)
Front right: -7.0db Full band
Height left : -1.5db. 80HZ
Height right : -0.5db 80HZ
Surround left : -2.5db 80HZ
Surround right -1.5db 80HZ
My previous speakers level was +8db for all
With this some change , sound quality was change noticeably and amazing , still maybe need some thing change ,please let me know if you are still thinking something wrong with crossover or ,,,.
