Dang! If I needed a decent computer, I would snatch this up without a second thought! I really don't think you will do better for the quality and cost than this one right here. I am an absolute Asus fanboy after using many of their products for many years.

I have it's big brother with 8Gb RAM, 256gB SSD, Core i7, but I paid ~$800 for that one.

Microsoft is digging their own graves with per core licensing for 2016 servers. Massively overpriced purchase of linkedin, killing Nokia.... I could go on.

People are moving on. Macbook Pros laptops are insanely popular in workspace. FFS even IBM admitted they are huge percent Mac. Vast majority of new servers are all linux. Why do you think MS bothered to port their SQL server to linux?

In short - modern computing is going to live inside browser and Windows simply isn't going to be part of it.
