Yamaha RX-V2400 & PS3 on Multiple Zones

Hi,

I am attempting to assist a co-worker to set up a PS3 for multiple zones on their Yamaha RX-V2400. I understand that the PS3 can only output via the AV Multi Out port, or the HDMI port one at a time.

What I am trying to figure out, is if there is a way to take the standard PS3 AV Multi Out port cable that converts to a Component cable set (YPbPr video and RCA audio), and split it to Component (YPbPr Video & RCA Audio) and AV (RCA Audio and Video)?

I have the PS3 connected up to Zone 1, so it works just fine there. I am trying to get the PS3 to be able to play Blu-Ray discs to Zone 2, while the Yamaha plays Tivo or DirecTV to Zone 1, but then be able to switch Zone 1 back to playing the PS3 games without switching cables. Also, trying to be able to set up Blu-Ray (PS3) to play to multiple zones at the same time, hence trying to figure out how to split the signal.

Any ideas? Anyone know of some powered splitters that would work?

Thanks for any info.
