Hi all
I have an old Yamaha CDX-710 CD player that is giving symptoms that the Laser is failing, it still plays pristine condition CD's fine but those with even minor marks it starts skipping on.
I can get a new laser module but wondered if anyone knew if its just a case of swapping the module or if special equipment is needed to set it up after installation.
