Yamaha Aventage RX-A1010 - 4 OHM?

Here is the deal.
I have a Yamaha Aventage RX-a1010 powering a 5.1 setup in my living room.
I have split off the amp and have zone 2 powering 2 speakers on my patio.
I wanted to expand the patio and add two additional speakers.
Can I change that zone to 4 OHMS and power all outdoor speakers with just the two channels?
The outdoor speakers are Definitive Technology AWS6500s.

Thanks!

Manufacturer rating of 8 ohms does not mean much. It is very likely that those speakers dip down to 6 ohms. So, now the amp will see an impedance of 3 ohms if you hook them in parallel.

The correct way to connect 4 speakers is via an impedance matching volume control.
