Which one would be better cable for home theatre HDMI with audio, Digital coaxial audio or optical audio cable?

Theoretically, if you have a receiver of taking advantage of HDMI audio, you don't need either toslink or digital coaxial.

If your receiver doesn't decode HDMI audio, then either toslink or digital coax work equally well. I prefer coaxial since almost any interconnect will work quite well and it makes a more secure connection.

What does this have to do with subwoofers anyway?
