What type of B+W speakers are these? Worth?

It looks like the 800D model. Just by googling B & W speaker images, you quickly find it:

As for it's value, I suggest that you do your own search on sites like eBay, US Audio Mart etc.

Does B&W even make a speaker without a model number on the label or terminal plate? The 802D for example has a plate right below the terminals with the model number.

B&W Signature 800 loudspeaker

They're the 800s made in 2002.

Those are some gorgeous speakers. Simple as that.

You can check at www.audiogon.com for current pricing that is being asked. Be aware, what is being asked and what people get may be quite different.

Also, be aware that some people love driving these speakers at very high levels, which can sometimes damage the drivers and require them to go to B&W for repair, which can be costly.

Generally, well over $10,000 a pair is realistic asking price on these speakers.

It looks like the used value is $8000 to $8,600 USD.

A very good friend had a pair of these. I have to say, I was never very fond of them. The mid is driven well into break up range. The 800 D3 he got later where much better. Personally they were not a speaker I could have lived with.
