What makes a post needing to be moderated first?

I posted a reply today and got the message that my post was waiting to be approved by a moderator, or something like that.

There were no bad words in there or anything. What are the criteria to hold a post like this?

probably the newness of your account + frequency of posts

it's more for spam rather than any other reason
