Website for Signature Comparison?

Hey guys,

Just figured it's easier to ask; what resources have you found for finding other speakers with similar sonic signatures? In the event that your budget does not accommodate matching your fronts in quality... have you found tools that help you find similar signatures for your surrounds in a mixed setup to tide you over?

I've recently purchased Genelec 6020a as an example, and I'm interested in finding speakers that will fit with them. I could hunt every website I can think of and compare the specs on all comparable models, but this would take forever. Headroom has a great tool for headphones, though I'm unaware of any for speakers.

Any advice? You guys should really run a tip jar for all the help you offer! :p

I've never heard of a website that has a tool for finding timbre matching speakers.

For surrounds, I think most speakers would do just fine. I would not lose any sleep over surround speakers.

For center, I would just go with accurate traditional direct front radiating speakers that are Tweeter-Midrange or Midrange-Tweeter-Midrange configuration.

I think you'd want to match the aesthetic as well.
