Volume Differences

Not sure if this is a receiver issue or just how it is being broadcast. But, I notice that when I watch movies/tv from my htpc at 55db but if I switch to internet radio that is much louder and I have to turn it down to around 45db. I have a Denon 1613 receiver.

It's the source more than likely. depending on your equipment, you may can change the volume for each source.

Go to the setup menu, select Input then Source Level. You can adjust the audio level of each source so they match.

See page 91 of your manual, or grab the pdf from the Denon web site.

You may need to adjust your HTPC up and the radio down to get them to match.

Thanks, that works. Having to turn the volume down before switching inputs was getting annoying.
