Vintage EV SPEAKER QUESTION

Back in the 1970's my Dad had a pair of tall EV speakers. They were

3 way 12" woofer that had a cone in the center. They looked like a

really tall Klipsch Heresey with the mid horn and tweeter. I have

Googled for a hour looking for a pic of these. I think Pop told me they

were offered in a kit that you had to build. They not quality wood like

Pop's Cornwalls he passed on to me. Anyone??

Thanks
Louis

Hi, Louis. Does this look like them? It's an EV QRx153/75. At least to me, it looks like a tall Klipsch Heresy.

EDIT: Oops. That's a 15" woofer.

No the horns and tweeter look just like my Heresey II but tall about 48"

or so. The side boards were a inch taller then the top board and the

bottom of the side boards were about 6" or so down from the sealed encloser

to raise them off the floor.

Well, I'm about half an hour in and coming up with nothing. Looks like you're getting some good help over at AudioKarma. Best of luck!

I looked for more then a hour now on Google.Epray:) it's hell getting old.

I owned them for several years. Pop gave them to me in 1979 when he

purchased the Cornwall I I have now. Thanks for looking.
