I recently bought this system off of Velodyne's website for $499 shipped, original price $1499. I have them hooked up to a Pioneer VSX-1015TX, only using the DECO satellites for center and left/right surround. I'm moving April 14 or so, and I'll hook up the rear surrounds also once I get into the new house. The sub reproduces lows very well. It's loud, and also clear, for movies and music. The satellites perform well also. They are very crisp and clear, in both movies and music. The sale is still going on if anyone's interested.
