True 4K HDR tv?

i keep researching on this and i keep getting conflicted info.

for a true hdr 4k tv, are these the must haves?

HDR
Wide Color Gambut
4K Color drive

anything else?

I'd stay the hell away from LG as possible. Theren't any "true" or not "true" HDR sets.
There are two competing standards: HDR10 and Dolby Vision. First one is open standard (thus much more common), second (arguably slightly more advanced) but is also proprietary and requires licensing.

I have to concede I'm not familiar with the term "4K color drive" but it strikes me as kind of hokey because it mixes resolution (4K) with color, which isn't a resolution issue. It smells like the creation of a marketing department.

rtings.com has quite a bit of useful information. Here is their list of best 65" TVs:

As you can see, they rated the Vizio M65-VO as the best budget TV. Personally, I would try to find the best TV for my budget (assuming it is not infinity) and the likely uses of the TV and not worry about must haves.

Both of these are fake 120hz, real panels refresh rate is only 60hz on both.
If you want smooth motion on LCD panels, I'd look for true 120hz refresh often advertised as 240 "effective" or any other marketing bs term

i went to costco today and they have the vizio M60-D1 with dolby vision + hdr10 for $800
i think its 240 refresh rate

comes with an android tablet and chromecast built in
dont know anything about android tablets or chromecast but for the price for the specs looks like it will be superior to my tcl i bought for $420. though twice the cost, but i get a better picture and 5 inches more
