So do you know what advantage the dual porting was purported to provide for the speakers?
I bought this as a package deal and there was no advertising of advantages of porting of the speakers. One advantage would be to reduce chuffing or port noise if one port was in the back but the disadadvantage of that would be placement issues. That's my best guess.
