Tilting wall mount recommendations with "floating" shelf feature

Any suggestions please - really prefer to handle weight up to 70" TV, with easy, no-tools tilting, but with the weight-loading capability to have a floating wall shelf feature that hangs down from mount frame.

The Chief stuff is spectacular, but I would really struggle with suggesting anything hung from a flat panel mount. It's like a foot... it just looks goofy.

Monoprice.com and Amazon have a ton of very good flat panel mounts, but none touch Chief quality or have the accessories of their Fusion mounts. But, you can hang any shelf you want on the wall for the price jump associated with going with Chief over others.

Thanks for the reply! Kinda gave up on the idea of a shelf hanging from the TV wall-mount plate.
Decided to try and find a fully-articulating mount that can span 24" wall studs.. Any suggestions are appreciated!
