I have the Technics SA-DX1040 Model for my home entertainment system. When I turn it on after about 3-5 second it reads OVERLOAD. Then proceeds to say Switch Power Off...Overload. I have done this many times and even pulled the cover off looking a fr a main switch or fuse. NOTHING. I am clueless and don't have the manuel anymore. If anyone has any insight on what I can do to fix let me know. Thanks.

Check your speaker wires thorougly for any shorting, also check if any stray strands are touching the body of the receiver. Also make sure all your drivers are working as any defective drivers or crossovers will cause this. Only if all this is checked you will know that your receiver is at fault here.
