Very impressive indeed :) I want. I believe he received and tested the svs pb12-ultra/2 not the pb12-ultra based on
1) he said the sub's weight was nearly 200 pounds
2) the amp was a Bash amp rated at 1,000 continuous watts.
3) the dimensions of roughly 19" wide, 26" tall, and 29" deep.

Ultra/2 is 190 pounds. Bash amp at 1,000w. 19" wide, 26.5" tall and 28" deep

Ultra is 125 pounds. Bash amp at 500w. Approx. 25”deep x 18"wide x 25"high

Ed Mullen is a respected subwoofer reviewer. Some say he is biased towards SVS, others refute that. He did get his start with reviewing SVS subs, and seems to be active in many SVS discussions.

He is now a reviewer for Secrets of Home Theater and Hi-fidelity:
