Where can I get a subwoofer crossover without the amp? I have a subwoofer with a blown amp. I have a Carver M400 amp that I can bridge for 800 watts. Need a something I can control the woofer with. Any ideas? I have a second set of main-outs on my pre-amp that I plug the M400 into.

Is the amplifier is bridged, is it rated for the subwoofers impedance?

That digital crossover is cool, but beyond my means. The Carver amp can be bridged for 500 watts mono with an 800 - 900 watt peak.

OK. But what no. 5 is asking is, is it rated for the Ohm rating of the sub when it's bridged? A lot of amps are 4Ohm stable when in stereo but only 8Ohm stable in a bridged setup. If that's how your amp is and the sub is rated for 4Ohm or lower, as some are, you could damage both the sub and the amp but mainly the amp.

You might want to look into that before you proceed.
