Hey guys

I found a set of these yorkville studio monitors for 200$ canadian at my local conservatory. The reason they are so cheap is because they are now discontinued but they look great. I'm guessing a set of these speakers would sound great but wouldn't be loud or bassy. I'm a bass junkie but I still like my stuff to sound good. What are your opinions on the studio monitors and do you think I should pick them up. I like very heavy music like techno and metal. Thanks

Haas out :D

Near Field Monitors

Keep in mind that these are near field monitors. that means that they are designed to be listened to real close, not like headphones, but close - say a couple of feet. Near field monitors have abysmal off axis performance.

I know

Thanks

Ya I know they are nearfield monitors. I will be using them in my computer room beside the screen with a small velodyne VX-10 subwoofer. I will be sitiing very close to them so it should work perfectly. What are your opinions on the yorkville monitors. Thanks
