Speaker wire

I had speaker connectors but they were the twin ones that are held together by a little plastic. The new receiver I have spacing is a little further apart so I cannot use them. Do you recommend using connectors or just use the wire themelves to connect to the speaker post?

Connectors just make the connection simpler; they add no benefit soundwise. So that's your call if you want to have the connectors or not. Personally, I use them on all my systems.

I think its wise to take as many potential sources for error out of the picture. Just go with bare wires and you won't have to worry about this problem again.
