Speaker settings

If my speakers have a frequency response of 80 Hz to 30 kHz does that mean in my amp settings i choose 80hz in the amp setting because the auto detect is setting them to 120hz, does this make it so the speakers wont play frequencies below this, cheers

Yes, By setting the crossover to 80hz then nothing lower than that will go to your speakers. Your subwoofer will handle anything lower. Make sure the speakers are set to small. I would think 100-120 would be correct but don't forget you can experiment with different settings and see what sounds best in your room and to your ears. Start at 80 and go from there.
