Hi,
I'm starting my basement renovation project and will be building a 7.1.2 home theater set up in a room. Size will be roughly 10.5'Wx24.5'Lx8'H. Just purchased the necessary speakers that I plan to plug into an Onkyo TX-NR636 receiver that's supposed to be Atmos ready. After reviewing all the speaker connections on the receiver, I'm having some trouble figuring how to connect the height speakers. I purchased a total of 9 speakers:
- Left front channel
- Right front channel
- Center channel
- Left side surround
- Right side surround
- Left back surround
- Right back surround
- Left ceiling (Atmos)
- Right ceiling (Atmos)
The manual only provided instructions on connecting up to 7 speakers. So, how/where do I connect the ceiling speakers to simulate the Atmos effect? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
