I was going to mount the center 2'nd brick down from the top of the mantle but I decided to just leave it where it is, on the hearth of the fire place. Really having a hard time deciding what I want to do with the l/r speakers. I could get another shelf for $100 & not use the wallmounts btech-77's but I dont know what I want to do! Part of me is thinking #$@&%, I should have just got towers!
Opinions, where would you guys put the mains? wall mount them or another shelf, or?
If the shelf is your pick what are the thoughts on the woofer & the shelf overhang situation in the pic? Been told to flip the speaker so the tweeter is at the lowest point, does it really make that big of a difference?
The HSU bookshelfs are huge & Im also second guessing myself on the rear positioning. Wanted them high in the corners & out of the way. I could put them on stands but not ideal for me. Smaller satelites, would you?
The sub is going in the front right corner.
