Speaker impedence and my receiver

I have a pair of Phase Technology 9.1 floor standing speakers that are 4 ohms. I use a 100 watt Onkyo receiver 7.1 which I bi-amped to use in a 5.1 system. It sounds good to me but I don't know if I am hurting the speakers. I previously had a Onky receiver that had a switch on the back to choose either 8 or 4 ohms

If your receiver is rated to be able to handle four ohms and you've had no problems, then you're home free.

Thanks for your comment. These loudspeakers sure sound great to me in their present setting

If it is mismatched, it would more likely harm the receiver than the speakers. Peace and goodwill.
