Sound Problems on start up

I have a Pioneer Elite VSX-26TX receiver. It was working fine up until a few months ago. Now when I turn on the receiver, sound doesn't come out the speakers right away. It takes about 15 minutes for the sound to finally come through. I don't know what the problem is and if it can be easily fixed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Does the sound,when it finally comes on,click right on to the volume it's set at? The reason I ask is that I have a Yamaha receiver that has a similar issue with one of the surround chans.When I turn the receiver on sometimes that chan is working & sometimes not.I've found that when it's not,all I have to do is turn the receiver off & then back on & it works every time.I was told it was probably a bad processor & I haven't bothered to take in for repair(got a 60% discount when I purchased it although they didn't tell me it had issues).
