My Yamaha 1020AVR would not play the audio when I would change channels on the tv (ATT U-VERSE) starting a few months ago.
My work around was to change the input from Av2 (tv) to av1 (oppo) and back which would reconnect the sound. No video issues. Most of the time when changing channels I woul have to go through that sequence to get sound.
Today, no sound when playing CD's on the Oppo. First time for this issue. The screen on the Oppo shows it is reading the cd, but no sound and song info etc. not showing on tv
Is my receiver going bad? My Oppo? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
